01Direct DMG
The Direct build is distributed as a macOS DMG. It is the build that uses Direct license activation and Sparkle updates.

The download button resolves the latest public Direct DMG from the Sparkle appcast and falls back to the last validated release artifact.
02Install
Open the DMG, drag Prompto.app into Applications, then launch it from Applications or Spotlight. macOS may show the standard Gatekeeper confirmation for apps downloaded from the web.
On first use, the Direct build may ask for license activation. After a valid activation, the app stores local licensing state in the macOS Keychain as part of the Direct licensing runtime.
03Recover download
The public Direct download link always points at the latest validated DMG. If you need your order receipt or license key again, open Lemon Squeezy My Orders with the email address used at checkout.
If My Orders does not work for your email address, contact support with the order ID if available and the checkout email. Do not send the full license key.
04Mac App Store
The Mac App Store version is a separate sandboxed build. It is bought, downloaded, updated, and refunded through Apple, not through the Direct DMG checkout.
Direct license keys do not apply to the Mac App Store version. The App Store build does not contain Direct license UI, Lemon Squeezy runtime, external checkout unlock links, or Sparkle.
05Release integrity
Public Direct releases keep the existing Mac release chain: Developer ID signing, Apple notarization, stapling, Gatekeeper validation, and Sparkle update signatures.
Licensing controls commercial use. It does not replace code signing, notarization, Gatekeeper, or Sparkle signatures.
